My family loves cooking chicken curry. The heat, in terms of spices, depends on who is cooking and the type of chili peppers they are using. In my case, I am more in the neutral-zone if you will because my family would not eat it if it gets too spicy.
Several weeks ago, I received a package from my friends — Mark and Reese of “Season with Spice.” The package had these cute bottles of spices from their online store. It took me a while to cook up a dish that is appropriate with the spices they sent me. Today, instead of using regular fresh chili peppers, I used their Smoked Serrano Chili Powder in this Chicken Curry. Well, I am glad that I did. The spiciness is subtle and not overpowering. The hint of smokiness is just wonderful. You should give it a try on your next recipe.
